Teapacks - "Push the Button"
Well, if I was surrounded by extremists who didn't think I had a right to exist, I'd have gallows humor too.
I'm sure at some level this is about Ahmadinejad and his quest to make Iran a nuclear nation. It's hard not to be a little touchy when you're looking at an ambitious world leader who funds Hezbollah, who's a couple of years off a nuke (within missile range), and who in public has said the Holocaust reports are exaggerated and Israel should be wiped off the map.
That said, I prefer to think of this song as the sound of anger from the Israeli people, angry at Prime Minister Olmert and how he handled the Lebanon conflict last year. As of April 2007, Olmert's approval rating: 2%.
